Petrified wood is a fossil formed over millions of years when the wood is buried by water and mineral-rich sediment. As oxygen is cut off from the wood, decomposition slows letting the minerals in the water and sediment settle into the wood and harden.
Thick slab has been shaped to form a beautiful polished bowl.
