Ibis Jasper Palm Stone

Ibis Jasper is a name for a recently discovered Madagascan brecciated jasper. Breccia (Italian breccia “breach”) refers to stones broken apart and naturally cemented back together.  The ibis are long legged waterfowl similar in appearance to a crane. Madagascan ibis are brownish red instead, with touches of white and blue.  The stone has a similar color palette.  Some pieces also look like feathers or flocks in flight.

In the fourth century it was believed that Jasper could be used to summon the rain.

Believed to be helpful in healing any fractures in the body, PTSD, recovery after trauma, and helping to support during stressful times. Also believed to be helpful when you are in a creative rut, lacking inspiration or motivation, or when taking life to seriously.
