Ocean Jasper Palm Stone

Ocean Jasper is the trademarked name but it is not a jasper. It is an orbicular chalcedony instead. It consists of spherical chalcedony, quartz and chalcedony grains, and star bursts and druzes of quartz crystals which are created by radial growth around a central point, like the spokes of a wheel. The stone was discovered in October 1999 by Paul Obeniche near the village of Marovato. created by radial growth around a central point, like the spokes of a wheel.

Ocean Jasper comes from only one place in the world, northwestern Madagascar, where there are two different deposits about ten miles apart.

It is said to provide calm, uplifting energy through trying times. It also is said to aid in clearer communication and enhances self-confidence as well as self-insight. Known to get rid of negative feelings weighing on the heart, directing them upward toward the Throat chakra to be expelled verbally.
