Clams are made up of two, usually equal, half shells and a soft inner body. Although they are aniamls they have no head, arms, legs, eyes, ears, nose, or brain. Without all that they have two goals in their life- eat and reproduce. When they can do that they are "happy as a clam".

Clam shells are typically smooth and bowl shaped so they make great containers for jewelry and other small important items.
